How it works
How KatKut AI adds a graphic
The AI reads your transcript
After your speech is transcribed, an AI model looks for moments where a graphic says it better than footage: a number, a list, a place, a time. It marks those moments and fills in what to show.
The app draws the graphic
Graphics are generated by the app, not downloaded from a stock or template library, so they cost nothing extra. Each one comes with a short sound effect.
You check and change it
Select a graphic in the editor to fix a number or a word, pick another design, colour or font, move it or delete it. Nothing is rendered until you tap Export.
Graphics come with Smart B-Roll. The Smart B-Roll switch on the setup screen turns stock footage, stickers, motion graphics and the opening hook on or off together. Turn it off for captions only.

The AI reads what you say in the first seconds and writes a hook of up to six words from it. The app animates it over the opening in one of ten designs: Hero Stack, Price Punch, Marker, Typewriter, Pin Drop, Question Card, Bounce, Collision, Split Impact and Kinetic. Change its words, design, colour or font, or delete it.

What are motion graphics in a video?
Motion graphics are animated shapes, numbers and text drawn over a video to show a fact, such as a price, a percentage or a place on a map. In KatKut AI they are created automatically from what you say and can be edited before you export.
How does KatKut AI decide when to add a graphic?
An AI model reads your transcript and marks moments where a graphic shows the point better than footage: a price, a percentage, a list, a place, a route, a clock time, a date, a length of time or a brand name. Not every mention gets a graphic; the AI chooses the moments that carry the meaning.
Can I fix a number or word the AI got wrong?
Yes. Select the graphic in the editor and change its text or numbers, for example a price, a percentage, a list item, a place name or a route's distance. You can also pick another design, colour or font, move the graphic, or delete it.
Can I turn motion graphics off?
Yes. Turn off Smart B-Roll on the setup screen and Studio adds captions only, with no stock footage, stickers, motion graphics or hook. You can also delete any single graphic in the editor.
Do motion graphics cost extra?
No. Motion graphics are included on the free plan and on Pro. The free plan has 4 minutes of Studio video a month and a watermark on exports; Pro is $3.99 a month for 120 minutes and no watermark.
