Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Katkut AI app and Katkut AI Pro subscription ("Service"), provided by Katkut ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Katkut AI is a mobile app that analyzes and assembles short video clips you select into a vertical (9:16) reel, entirely on your device. The free tier includes a watermark on exported videos and a limit on export length or count; Katkut AI Pro removes both.
2. Your account
Signing in (via Google) is optional for basic use but required to subscribe to Pro, since your subscription status is tied to your account. You're responsible for keeping your account accessible and for all activity under it.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Katkut AI Pro is $3.99/month, billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
- Subscriptions are purchased and managed through our website (not through the app's app store listing), processed by Stripe.
- You can cancel anytime; cancelling stops future renewals, but we don't provide partial refunds for the current billing period.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend Pro features until payment succeeds or the subscription is cancelled.
4. Your content
Your clips, photos, and exported reels are yours. We don't claim any ownership over them, and as described in our Privacy Policy, they're processed entirely on your device and never uploaded to us.
You're responsible for having the rights to any footage, audio, or music you include in your reels, and for complying with the terms of whatever platform you post the finished reel to.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Katkut AI to process content you don't have the right to use, or in any way that violates applicable law.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We aim for KatKut's automatic cut selection to be genuinely useful, but we don't guarantee it will pick the "best" moments to your taste every time. It's a starting point, meant to be reviewed and finished in your editor of choice.
7. Changes
We may update these terms or the Service over time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
