What counts as AI-enhanced?
Captions in the language you speak use video minutes only. Switch on any of these and the video also uses AI-enhanced minutes:

- Smart B-Roll
- Motion graphics
AI-enhanced minutes are part of your video minutes, not extra. Pro is 60 minutes of video a month, and up to 20 of them can be AI-enhanced. Motion graphics, stickers and the opening hook come with Smart B-Roll.

A Studio video counts its spoken length, to the last word, in exact seconds. A video that also uses AI-enhanced minutes counts at least 1 minute there. Unused minutes do not roll over. Multi-Clip Reel does not use minutes.
Billing questions
Where do I subscribe?
Inside the KatKut AI app: open Settings and tap See plans. On iPhone, you pay with an Apple in-app purchase billed to your Apple ID. On Android, the app opens a secure Stripe checkout in your browser that links the plan to your account. Your plan activates as soon as payment completes.
What are AI-enhanced minutes?
They are the minutes of video that use translation, romanised captions or Smart B-Roll (which brings motion graphics, stickers and the opening hook). They are part of your video minutes, not on top of them: if you are on Pro and have already made 55 minutes of plain videos, 5 minutes are left for AI-enhanced videos too. Plain captions in your spoken language never use AI-enhanced minutes.
When do my minutes reset?
On a paid plan, every month on your billing date. On Free, on the 1st of each month. The app shows how many minutes you have left and the date they reset.
Can I switch plans?
You can move to a bigger plan at any time from Settings › Your plan › Change plan. The new plan's full minutes start the same day, and your monthly billing date moves to that day. On iPhone, Apple handles the change and the charge. On Android, the new plan's full price is charged that day.
To move to a smaller plan on iPhone, change it in your Apple subscriptions; it takes effect at your next renewal. On Android this is not available yet, but you can cancel any time.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone, in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. On Android, open Settings in the app and tap Manage subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then you are back on Free.
I subscribed to Pro before these plans. What changes for me?
Your original Pro plan stays as it is: $3.99 a month for 120 minutes, translation and B-roll on any video, videos up to 5 minutes, and minutes that reset on the 1st. The app shows it as Pro (legacy).
Does a paid plan change what the AI can do?
No. Every language, translation, B-roll and caption style is available on every plan, Free included. Plans differ in video minutes, AI-enhanced minutes and video length, and paid plans remove the watermark and ads.
